The Forum Theatre have been granted the use of Society of London Theatre & UK Theatre’s ‘See It Safely‘ mark. The mark certifies that we are complying with the latest Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, to ensure the safety of our staff and audiences.

How will my ticket work?

The majority of tickets for Forum events will be e-ticket or print-at-home ticket. This will allow you to minimise the amount of time you may have to queue, and reduce contact with the front of house team.

Will I need to wear a face covering?

In line with government guidance with regards to face covering indoors, we strongly recommend that you continue to wear face coverings out of respect for fellow audience members and our staff and performers when coming to The Forum Theatre, especially when moving around our venue.

What should I bring?

Please keep your belongings to a minimum and with you at all times. We do not have cloakroom facilities at The Forum Theatre

Will I be able to buy interval refreshments?

The bar will be open before, during the interval and after the performances. To minimise any need for queuing you can pre order your interval drinks via our app, which you can download and use on any smartphone. Why not download the app in advance and search for “Butlr: Food and Drink Ordering”. Ice Creams will also be available for most events and patrons may be advised to consume refreshments in specific areas of the theatre. Please speak to a member of the Front of House team should you require any assistance.

Will I need to have my temperature checked and provide track and trace details?

There will be no temperature checks on arrival and, as all of our tickets require a lead booker to provide details when purchasing tickets, there will be no need to provide additional details when entering the theatre.

What are the social distancing rules?

As of 19 July, theatres will be able to open at full capacity so you may be sitting next to other people outside of your household when visiting The Forum Theatre.

We do however continue to ask you to maintain a safe social distance where possible when queuing to take your seats and moving around the theatre. You may need to pass someone to take your seat in a row – to mitigate risk we recommend wearing your face covering while moving around the theatre. There may be one-way systems in place to reduce your contact with others, so please do follow these signs.

What else are we doing?

The Forum Theatre will be offering enhanced cleaning and regularly disinfecting.

We have plenty of hand sanitiser stations throughout the theatre so please make sure you use these during your visit, especially when you enter and exit the theatre.

We will always ensure that fresh air is pumped into our auditorium for all public events with windows open in all backstage areas.

What happens if I have Covid or am isolating and can’t use my ticket?

We will be ensuring that you have maximum flexibility by allowing tickets to be exchanged or refunded up to 48 hours prior to the performance – so if someone in your party is confirmed as Covid positive or has symptoms and is isolating, there is no need to worry.

What if I have another question or problem?

The best way to contact us is via email. Send your question to boxoffice@theforumtheatre.co.uk and we will be happy to help.

The theatre will continue to follow best practice should any measures be in place for events scheduled after Step 4 of the Government’s Roadmap out of restrictions. If you are planning to visit the theatre, you can see a full list of the measures in place together with frequently asked questions and a list of all of the theatres taking part in the scheme by visiting the See it Safely Website

Thank you for playing your part and we look forward to seeing you at the theatre again soon.
